"I've never been someone who put a lot of emphasis in my hair. It's always been unruly not a feature that defines me. Into my 30s now with it starting to thin more and sparks of silver showing up, I have been lately been wanting to enjoy parts of it where I can. Ever since I have needed a haircut because of my low-maintenance though, it has led to me not really seeking out anything except just bare minimum. Meaning as long as somebody didn't hack off an ear lobe, or do something so bad to screw up that it needed to be shaved, I was usually fine with whatever. But basically I have just frequented your run the mill hair salons that are simply to be expected. Running into Sports Clips for the first time this past go though, I have seen that I have been somewhat missing out on certain professions/businesses trying to tailor what they do to certain demographics. So me being a big sports fan of many facets, I guess I have been missing out. They only cost a little more than the run-the-mill places I usually go to. But their environment has a nice and original inviting appeal to it for someone like me. Bleacher like seating with Sports Center on the big screen. The line up of who is in line for a cut posted on an MLB-esque score board. Arrangement in the salon also tailored to a sports level with each chair set with its own private sports tv screen. So if your stylist isn't the most savvy with small talk (mine faired fine), the awkward silence was filled. . . I really just happened upon the place by accident in a time crunch push. And I am happy I did. Not only will I be putting more thought into the places I go that may specialize in things that more interest me, but I wouldn't be shocked if other types of services/professions have done something along the lines that I was just never the wiser of."

"I'm always taken fairly quickly and consistently happy with the haircuts. I don't want anything other than a short, clean cut once in a while and this place is perfect. Plenty of TV's to watch and a hassle free experience."

"Asked for an MVP but she gave me a triple play and wanted to charge me for an MVP. Also the one in Redmond is better, never have had a bad experience at that one!"

"I go to Sport Clips pretty often. But I go to different locations, sometimes based on where I'm at, but more often based on the wait. Of the 4 I've been to this has been the best: 5* Woodinville, fast, friendly, good cuts, good with kids too 4* Lynnwood (but I've only been there once) 3.5* Kirkland, good cuts, no cell service there (at least with T-Mobile) 3* Kenmore, they have 1 great cutter, but weird hours and hard to predict waits. They did give me a free pizza once so that was cool. For the money I think the chain generally does a nice job."

"Its a good hair cut if you like a buzz cut but if you want any sort of style 50/50 they butcher it. I wasn’t even asking for a change in style just a trim but it got cut way short then the stylist left my hair wet, slicked it back, and put some product in it without me even asking for product. What I asked for (and the picture I showed) wasn’t even close to slicked back."
